WOW!!!! It's hard to find words to describe this young male. Although we aren't breeding for white this boy is top of the line. He is an all-around Suri champ. His personality, fiber, and phenotype are exactly what you want to find in a Suri.
He has a champion bloodlines on both his sire and dam's side. His sire is a grand champion winner and his grand-dam on his sire's side is a two-time grand champion. His dam also placed high in the show ring, winning multiple seconds.

His champion locks are beautiful tightly locked, penciled strands. Blanco has extreme density, fineness, and luster; and they speak for themselves. Even at 11 years of age, Blanco is sporting locks from his head to his toes!
Blanco's dam, WRSR Peruvian Brandywine, has passed on her easy going calm temperament to all of her crias, including Blanco. He and his siblings are some of the easiest animals to work around on our ranch.
Blanco would make an impact on any breeding program, his genetics are strong and full of champion wins!!

Details
The next generation of Sandhills Suri has arrived and the future is indeed looking bright....
Sonata is an ode to all the core foundation females that set the stage for the herd we have today. An Ameripaca's Lorraine granddaughter, Summerwind Symphony great-granddaughter, and WRSR Peruvian Brandywine granddaughter, Sonata is the total package. Sonata is truly a spitting image of Summerwind's Symphony, and was born on what would have been Symphony's 20th birthday. We lost Symphony in 2016 to cancer, but we see so much of Symphony in Sonata, which makes this youngster even more special.
Sonata is sired by Brandy's Cape Blano, her dam is Lorraine's Lexington, and Sonata is a one-in-a-million offspring from this combination. The curly, dense fawn locks are unlike anything sported by either her dam or sire; don't get us wrong, Blanco is a gorgeous beige male, with a fawn cape (hence his name) and tight locks from nose to tail (check out the youtube video of his locks) and Lexi has champion genetics, but she is unlike anything we would have expected from this combination.
A big girl with a big personality, Sonata has the same "show-herself" personality as her dam and grand-dam, Ameripaca's Lorraine. She knows her name and carries herself in a very upright manner. We truly can't stress how tall this girl is; her dam is often mistaken by the shearing team as a llama and Sonata is on par to be just as tall. Thank goodness she is easygoing!
Sonata has curly, defined fine locks from nose to tail. She also demonstrates good bone and coverage typically only sported by herdsires, a trait she has most certainly inherited from her sire.
We had big expectations for Sonata and she has not disappointed! Just like her dam, Sonata is a phenomenal production female and oh is her cria cute! Her cria is a very light silver, classic gray, and he is loaded with curly fleece.
