***2024 Cria are here, pics to come! Rosemont is one of the premier gray Suri herdsires of his era. The fleece traits this male has maintained with age are hard to come by in any color, let alone gray. Rosemont is the total package -- good bone, sound conformation, with a fleece boasting density, luster, and fineness all maintained with age. Rosemont has also consistently passed on these traits to his offspring, of which aside from being all males, are all exquisite rising herdsires in their ...

Details
Paris exudes confidence and grace, true to her grand-champion genetics. Paris is a very unique light silver gray with tight lustrous curly locks that continue to relock after shearing -- even at 13 years of age! The strength of her phenotype comes from her grand dam two-time grand champion, Ameripaca's Lorraine. Paris' dam, London, had notorious long black penciled locks, producing a long staple length year after year. Paris also benefits from her sire's genetic line in increased facial fiber and fineness. Bachelor continues to improve luster and lock in all of his crias. Paris is very stoic, with the same "look but don't touch" personality, as her sisters.

Paris' Black Ty Affair, her 2020 cria, is evolving into Paris' spitting image.

Paris' 13-year-old fleece has been shown at the 2022 Suri Network, CALPACA, and PNAA IFA fleece shows, where Paris has taken fourth, third, and second, respectively. Paris is a natural when it comes to fleece shows. As novice skirters', all we did was pick vegetation out of her fleece, and Paris has consistently scored well, with little to no deductions for poor skirting. This speaks to her true uniformity of length and is a great reflection of Paris' consistency overall. Improved skirting of her fleece may have helped reduce her variation in micron.

Judges' commentary has included: "Good length for age and good uniformity within its micron range.", "Maturing well. Soft handle. Moderate density to fleece. Good length for growing period. Very usable fiber. Great to see mature fleece.", and "still maintains good length and handle for age".

Paris is not as fine as her sisters and fellow Bachelor offspring, but we are still in awe of this girl's quality, color, and consistency.

2023 update: Paris delivered another beautiful gray male!
